About The Speaker
Byron Klaus holds a DMin from Fuller Theological Seminary, an MRE from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a BSc from Bethany Bible College.
Prof Byron is the former president of the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary and previously served for 20 years at Vanguard University. He is the current vice president of Latin America Childcare (currently ChildHope), a child development ministry. Over his career, he has travelled to over 50 nations, preaching and developing leaders.
His scholarly works include Called and Empowered: Pentecostal Mission in Global Perspective (1991), The Globalization of Pentecostalism: A Religion Made to Travel (1999), and Voices Loud & Clear (2024). He has also written numerous journal articles and has been a prominent speaker in seminars, Bible colleges, and conferences globally. He received the Distinguished Educator Award in 2009 and the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Society for Pentecostal Studies in 2016.
