Eva Wong

Eva Wong holds a PhD from the Oxford Centre for Mission Studies, an MDiv from Bible College of Malaysia. She is the director of the Malaysia Pentecostal Research Centre, editor of the Malaysian Pentecostal Journal, and a faculty member at the Bible College of Malaysia. Her academic specialisation is in Pentecostal studies and theology.

Dr Eva is the vice president of the Asia Pentecostal Society and serves on the Assemblies of God Theological Commission. She co-leads the Scholar Leaders Women’s Peer Leader Forum and the Women Thriving Impact Team of the International Council for Evangelical Theological Education.

In 2024, Dr Eva organised and hosted an annual Pentecostal conference to foster theological dialogue in Malaysia. Before transitioning to full-time ministry and theology, she was an executive at MBf Finance Berhad. She is also an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God Malaysia.
