Eva Wong is the director of Malaysia Pentecostal Research Centre and the editor of the Malaysian Pentecostal Journal. A Pentecostal theologian and educator, she teaches full time at the Bible College of Malaysia. An ordained Assemblies of God minister, Dr Eva is also active in the ScholarLeaders’ Women’s Peer Leader Forum, the Asian Pentecostal Society, and the Lausanne Global Analysis, which is an international publication that seeks to deliver strategic and credible insight from an international network of evangelical analysts to equip influencers of global mission.
Most recently, Dr Eva was the organiser and host of an annual Pentecostal conference to foster Pentecostal theological conversation in Malaysia.
Before she became a full-time minister and theologian, Dr Eva was an executive at MBf Finance Berhad, a financial institution. She received her PhD from the Oxford Centre for Mission Studies in partnership with Middlesex University. Her fields of specialisation include Pentecostal studies and theology.
